Exactly the way each of the AMD partners, MSI has also pursued the launch date of AMD Radeon HD 7950 by bringing out a four different cards, out of which two are based on reference cooler that has a centrally placed fan and the other two come with their pretty popular Twin Frozr III dual fan cooler.

The two reference cooled card are to be available with the names R7950-2PMD3GD5 and R7950-2PMD3GD5/OC. The first one out of these two will have the reference 800MHz for GPU and 1250MHz for 3GB of GDDR5 memory and the second one will be offering a slightly overclocked GPU to 830MHz.

Now what will be catching the most of your interest are the next two of the cards – MSI R7950 Twin Frozr 3GD5 and R7950 Twin Fronzr 3GD5/OC, both of these will be featuring Twin Frozr III cooler and Military Class III components from MSI. Twin Frozr III has already made its presence but MSI suggests keeping these cards at 10 degree Celsius cooler and 13.7 dB quieter when you compare them to their reference design. Obviously, the OC version came to an end at factory overclocked to 880MHz for the GPU where as the same 3GB of GDDR5 memory moves on at a little higher 1300MHz (effectively 5.2GHz GDDR5).

You can already plan buying these cards – all four of them through retail or e-tail across the globe.
