Dell is going to launch its 10 inch tablet this June; a leaked document got the news out. Right now Dell has two tablets to offer. These are Streak 5 and Streak 7, out of which the former offers a five inch screen and is available in India and the latter offers a 7 inch screen and can be bought in other countries.

Now the company is looking forward to add three new tablets to its repository of tablets. Out of these three, the first one will be next in line after its current Streak series. However, this tablet will offer a 10 inch screen, dual core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor and will work on Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS. The company is anticipating its launch this June.

Again in July, Dell Latitude, another tablet from the company is expected to hit the market. It will be a 13 inch long Windows device offering i3 to i7 Intel processors along with a keypad doc that will help the users to transform the device into a laptop.

After this, Dell has a plan of launching another Windows based tablet in October. The device will be a 10 inch long tablet featuring an Intel Oak Trail processor of 1.5 GHz. It will offer a battery life of 8 hours and will be named as Latitude ST.

All the three upcoming tablets from Dell will feature high definition screens but unfortunately they will only be supporting data. Thus, it won’t be possible to make any calls other than the ones made with the help of VoIP which will be possible as the device has a built in microphone for the purpose.

These devices will come along with Dell’s own set of applications.  However, the tablets aren’t offering any outstanding specification so their success will be determined on the basis of their pricing and the integration of the application integrated to them.

Fusion based systems are making their presence felt in the market with the coming up of Dell’s new Inspiron M102z this week. Currently, the new ultraportable device of 11.6 inch with a starting price of $599 is listed on the Dell’s Australian website. It offers an on-die Radeon HD 6259 graphics, a 1GHz AD C-50 Processor of single core, a 2GB RAM of DDR3 1333MHz. The device comes with a 1.6 GHz E-350 APU of dual core, Radeon HD 6310 graphics, and a RAM of 4GB.

A LED backlit display of 1366X768, a 320GB 7200RPM hard drive that comes along with a Dell’s cloud storage of 2GB for a year, a webcam of 1.3 megapixel, Ethernet 10/100, Bluetooth 3.0,  a 7-in-1 card reader, 3 USB 2.0 ports, 802.11 b/g/n, and HDMI and VGA outputs are offered with all the configurations. A standard six-cell battery is offered but an optional nine-cell unit is also available that gives about 14 hours life. A third model for $749 is also offered by the company although it appears that it only gains an internal DVB-T TV tuner.

However, it is notable that HP’s Pavilion dm1z series at a starting price of $449.99 is already available which offers more flexibility as it allows you to add mechanical storage of 250GB to 759GB or a 128GB SSD, a RAM of 8GB, AT&T or Sprint, WWAN connectivity through Verizon, and Windows 7 Professional in the place of Home Premium. Dell’s device will have to compete with it. Both the systems come in around same dimensions, with HP’s device being a little thinner and heavier compared to the Dell’s device.
